Article 1 - Purpose
Jaguarden's Studio reserves the right to refuse any request for services without having to provide a reason for its decision.
Article 2 - Rates

Rates are listed in euros (€) and are per language translated.
Article 3 - Corrections and Changes
The rate includes a limited revision period.
This period lasts two weeks, starting from the time the relevant file(s) is or
are sent to the client.
Revisions are limited to translation or synchronization errors. Any additional
modifications resulting from a change in the client’s request may be subject
to an additional invoice.
Article 4 - Orders
Any fees charged by third-party payment platforms are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise agreed.
Article 5 - Payment
The reference currency used is the euro (€), and services are billed in euros.
This is the currency used by virtually all European countries, whether or not
they are members of the European Union, including France (the country
where Jaguarden's Studio is tax-resident).
The payment method can be determined in consultation with the client,
depending on whether the payment is made within France, within the
European Union, or internationally. We prefer to use services such as
PayPal for international payments.
Payment must be made within 14 days of the invoice date. The files will not be sent until the invoice has been paid.
If the invoice remains unpaid after one month, we will consider the order
canceled. Please note that after the initial 14-day payment deadline, late
fees may be applied in accordance with the quote.
In the event of a late payment, penalties may be imposed in accordance with
applicable law and these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Article 6 - Usage
Translations, subtitles, and other work produced by Jaguarden's Studio may
not be used, in whole or in part, to train, develop, or improve any artificial
intelligence system, whether generative or not, without prior written
authorization.
Unless otherwise agreed, the credit “Subtitles and/or Translation:
Jaguarden's Studio” must be retained.
This applies to: subtitles (often listed as the last subtitle track) and texts in general. The client agrees, when technically possible, to credit Jaguarden's Studio in the video description or in any other appropriate credit section.
Article 7 - Intellectual Property
The rights to use the translation are granted to the client only after full
payment of the invoice.
The client receives:
- the relevant files
- the right to use them for their own content
- the right to object to our public release of the ordered files (on our Google Drive with a public link, for example)
Jaguarden's Studio retains:
- our work methods
- our templates
- our expertise
Jaguarden's Studio cannot be held liable for any consequences resulting
from changes made by the client to the translated content after delivery.
The client warrants that they hold the necessary rights to the works they
entrust to Jaguarden's Studio for translation or subtitling.
Article 8 - Cancellation
In the event of cancellation after the service has begun, payment for work
already completed remains due.
If payment was made before the service began and the service has not yet
started, a refund may be considered.
If the service has already begun, no refund may be requested.
Article 9 - The French version shall prevail
These General Terms and Conditions are written in French. In the event of
any discrepancy between the various translations that may be produced by
or for the client for convenience, the French version shall prevail.
The French version will always be provided, even if a translated version is
also provided for convenience.
Article 10 - Consent
By confirming the order, the customer acknowledges and agrees that they have read and understood the Terms and Conditions.
Clarifications Outside of T&Cs
The following does not form part of the T&Cs. These are just clarifications or third-party information.
Any person who has previously collaborated with Jaguarden's Studio, before the services became paid, will retain the free access to our services, in gratitude for trusting us in our early days and allowing us to showcase our work and create a catalog and a reputation. However, it will be required to respect Article 6 of these T&Cs.
Clarifications on how Jaguarden's Studio calculates the prices of the different Rates:
- Translation + Subtitle .srt: Price = (Minutes + Seconds ÷ 60) × 7
- Translation + Subtitle .ass / .ytt: Price = (Minutes + Seconds ÷ 60) × 10
- Text translation: Price = 3 + (Number of words - 200 ÷ 200) × 3

Here is an example of what ASS / YTT format subtitles look like on a YouTube video.
Stylized subtitles are created in the ASS format.
They can be provided upon request. However, they cannot be imported into YouTube videos in this format. The version converted to the YTT format, which is compatible and can be imported into a YouTube video, will be provided for use on your YouTube videos.
